Illuminating Futures of a Founder & President of Tri Nguyen Cares

Growing up, I was deeply aware of the disparities in education, healthcare, and basic living conditions faced by underprivileged communities in Vietnam. While technology and knowledge were rapidly advancing, thousands of children still lacked access to quality STEM education, and many families struggled to meet basic healthcare needs. This realization drove me to establish Tri Nguyen Cares, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering disadvantaged children and the elderly through education, healthcare, and essential aid.
What started as a small initiative quickly grew into a nationwide movement, impacting thousands of lives across Vietnam.

Bringing Light & Knowledge to Bao Loc, Lam Dong
One of our earliest and most transformative projects was in Bao Loc, Lam Dong, where we sought to equip underprivileged students with the tools to thrive in a digital world.
📚 Bridging the Digital & Educational Gap – We provided:
✅ 8,000+ books, ensuring students had access to diverse learning materials.
✅ 55 computer sets, allowing students to learn coding, robotics, and digital literacy.
✅ 24 scholarships, supporting outstanding students from low-income families.
Seeing students light up with excitement as they powered on their first computer or built their first robotic prototype reaffirmed the transformative power of education.
Revolutionizing STEM & English Education in Quang Nam
While Bao Loc benefited from STEM advancements, students in Quang Nam faced a different challenge: a severe lack of basic educational resources. Our goal was to equip them with knowledge and the tools to compete in a globalized world.
📖 Expanding Educational Access – We contributed:
✅ 8,000+ textbooks & notebooks, allowing students to study subjects they never had access to before.
✅ 364 online English learning programs, helping students break language barriers and open doors to global opportunities.
✅ Scholarships, enabling students from low-income families to continue their education without financial burdens.
By investing in STEM and English education, we helped bridge the gap between rural and urban education, giving these students a fighting chance to succeed in an increasingly tech-driven world.
Restoring Hope for COVID-19 Orphans & Patients in Ho Chi Minh City
The COVID-19 pandemic left thousands of Vietnamese children orphaned, families devastated, and hospitals overwhelmed. Amidst this crisis, Tri Nguyen Cares launched an urgent initiative to support vulnerable communities affected by the pandemic.
🎁 Bringing Warmth & Joy During Tet – We donated:
✅ $10,000 worth of Tet essentials (food, hygiene kits, traditional gifts) to orphans and disabled children who lost their families to COVID-19.
Many of these children had no families to celebrate the Lunar New Year with, but through this initiative, they felt a sense of love, care, and belonging once again.
🍎 Supporting Healthcare Workers & Patients – We also funded $15,000 worth of medical equipment & food to:
✅ Binh Thuan & Danang makeshift hospitals, assisting 600+ COVID-19 patients.
✅ Frontline healthcare workers, providing essential resources to help them continue their life-saving work.
Seeing families receive meals, children clutch their first Tet gifts, and exhausted doctors regain a sense of hope was a powerful reminder of why I started this nonprofit.
Reflections on Leadership & Impact
Being the Founder & President of Tri Nguyen Cares has been one of the most challenging yet fulfilling experiences of my life.
🚀 Key Takeaways:
✅ Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty – By providing access to STEM and English education, we empower students to shape their own futures.
✅ Community support creates lasting change – From building computer labs to delivering medical supplies, real impact happens when people unite for a cause.
✅ Leadership is about resilience – Every challenge, from logistical hurdles to funding roadblocks, taught me that determination and adaptability are crucial in driving meaningful change.
Through Tri Nguyen Cares, I have witnessed the power of education, kindness, and collective action. And while we have already impacted thousands, this is only the beginning of a mission to empower even more lives across Vietnam.
